Online Refresh Training on Top Ten Cases Selection Guidelines

Create Time:2024-02-19

On the morning of February 2, QBPC Best Practices/Enforcement Committee (BPEC) held an online training on the Top Ten Cases Selection Guidelines. Wang Yi, Vice Chair of the BPEC, elaborated on the nomination rules and new changes to the Top Ten Cases selection guidelines, selection process and frequently asked questions of the Top Ten Cases. Hongkai Zhang, Vice Chair of the BPEC, also answered questions raised by members. More than 40 QBPC members attended and had in-depth interaction.

In response to the opinions and suggestions of members, QBPC has made two major adjustments to the Top Ten Case selection guidelines. Firstly, there will be no limit on the number of cases that each member company can nominate. Secondly, the distribution and weight of voting rights have been readjusted, especially adding voting rights of on-site general members (under the rules of on-site voting and one vote for one company).

Since January 30th, the 2023-2024 QBPC Annual Top Ten Cases in IP Protection has opened for nomination. Please check the group email of January 29 for the Guidelines and Procedure of Selection as well as the Recommendation Form. The deadline is 12:00nn (Beijing Time) on February 29, and the exceptional cases can be submitted before 1 March. We look forward to your wonderful cases!
